A new tool is now available to help producers navigate the agricultural loan application process.
A Farm Service Agency administrator says the tool was created to give all customers equal access to programs and services provided by the USDA.
In the past, a high number of requests, mainly from underserved producers— arrived incomplete. In many of these cases, they say, the cumbersome paper-based application process is to blame.
The department hopes the new tool, available online and accessible 24/7, will give producers the support they need and the ability to prepare their loan documents with one tool.
